1. Information We Collect & Custom Upload Data

When you purchase a custom apparel item from our store, we collect personal information such as your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, and email address.

Additionally, because our business allows you to co-design your apparel, we collect and process the digital images and custom text strings you upload to our servers. These images are used solely for the technical automation of rendering and printing your physical apparel via our secure production endpoints (including Printify and Bannerbear) and are never shared, sold, or distributed to third parties.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

 

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our e-commerce website.
  • Process, print, ship, and manage your custom apparel orders.
  • Understand and analyze how you use our website to improve user experience.
  • Develop new products, custom templates, and features.
  • Communicate with you regarding your order status or send you automated promotional discount emails if you opt into our newsletter.

3. Log Files & Shopify Hosting

 

Everybody needs GOOD FRIENDS follows a standard procedure of using log files through our hosting provider, Shopify. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

 

4. Cookies and Web Beacons

 

Like any other e-commerce website, our storefront uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

 

5. Third-Party Partners (Print-On-Demand API)

 

To fulfill your custom orders, your data flows securely through automated technical integrations:

 

  • Bannerbear: Receives text and image inputs to dynamically create print files.
  • Printify: Receives the final rendered print file to print and package the physical apparel.
    These processors are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it strictly for fulfilling your physical orders.
